Applications are invited for Multiculturalism Funding Program

Niagara Centre MP, Vance Badawey is inviting Niagara organizations to submit a project proposal to the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Inter-Action: Multiculturalism Funding Program.

The Projects component of this program supports national initiatives that will promote diversity, inclusion, and building positive relationships among the different cultural, religious, and ethnic communities in Canada.

“As Niagara has accomplished organizations representing many aspects of our community, their projects may be eligible for this funding opportunity,” said Vance Badawey, Niagara Centre MP. “I encourage them to think about applying for this funding and share this information with interested colleagues and organizations. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for their continued commitment and dedication to our residents.”

Priority is given to projects that work toward eliminating discrimination, racism, and prejudice through youth community engagement and involvement, art, culture, and/or sport.

Please visit the program website and read the application guidelines for more information. Application must be submitted via mail or email by March 24, 2017.
