Game four goes to Avalanche 9 – 3 over Meteors

Meteors Avalanche logoThe Avalanche have taken a 3 – 1 lead in the best-of-seven first round GOJHL playoff series with the Fort Erie Meteors after winning game four 9 – 3 Wednesday Mar. 8 in Ancaster.

Ancaster took a 4 – 0 lead in the first period with goals from Owen Burnell, assisted by Brad Lindsay; Adrien Beraldo assisted by Benjamin Hatanaka and Owen Burnell;  Zach Bramwell, assisted by Jack Wismer and Graydon James and the fourth goal came from Graydon James, assisted by Bryce Robertson and Owen Norton.

In the second period, the Fort Erie Meteors outscored the Avalanche 3 – 2. Fort Erie’s goals came from Jordan Russell with Alex McAteer assisting; Andrew Somerville with Mike Massotti and Cody Petawabano assisting and Jordan Russell with Cullen Kane assisting.

Ancaster’s two goals came from Zach Lawrence, assisted by Dawson Garcia and Benjamin Hatanaka and from Zach Bramwell, assisted by Jack Wismer and Graydon James.

The Avalanche added three more goals in the third period. Zack Bramwell scored assisted by Graydon James and Jack Wismer; Jesse Hilton netted one assisted by Zach Bramwell and Graydon James and Benjamin Hatanaka finished off the Avalanche scoring assisted by Zach Lawrence and Ryan Stepien.

Game five of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Thursday Mar. 9 in Fort Erie at 7:15 p.m.
