Generosity from Sobeys shoppers leads to big donation for Pelham Cares

Pelham Cares recently received a donation from Sobeys Fonthill, a generous donation from the store’s management, staff and customers.

“Thanks to the generosity of Sobeys shoppers and the efforts of Sobeys Fonthill Management and Staff, a cheque for $4,708 was presented to Pelham Cares,” said Lori Grande, Pelham Cares Client Services Coordinator. “Over 50 bags of food and the monetary donations were collected during their recent Holiday Food Drive and Fundraiser.”

“The food and funds will be used to provide food hampers to Pelham families in the coming months,” she said.
