Port Colborne was the place to be Sunday August 6/2017, a beautiful day and lots to do at Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival.

“Port Colborne is packed full,” Councilor John Mayne said about all the visitors in Port Colborne. “It’s great to see all these people here enjoying themselves.”

From a car show that was enjoying record numbers to touring old ships on West St. to the family friendly activities at the museum, Sunday, families came from all over to enjoy the day.

Sunday night, the evening was capped off by a wonderful boat parade of lights to an amazing fireworks display.

More activities take place on Monday, the last day of the festival.

Tim E. Tim and the Yes Men provide an Elvis experience followed up by the music of the Beatles performed by the Caverners Monday at Market Square, the annual duck race takes place, and the Empire Sandy is still running tours and the Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum is open to the public.
