Police are reminding members of the public that marijuana dispensaries are illegal, and the sale of marijuana from these locations is considered trafficking. Unfortunately members of the public believe that marijuana dispensaries are in a “grey” area, and they are not. At this point in time marijuana can only be obtained through medical authorization. Police will continue to monitor and actively investigate these types of businesses.
