Pelham Panthers regular season ends with losses

Pelham Panthers LogoThe Pelham Panthers regular season ended with losses this weekend, the lost 9 – 5 to Niagara Falls on Friday Feb. 24 in Niagara Falls and 8 – 0 Saturday Feb. 25 in Caledonia against the Corvairs.

The goal scorers for Pelham in the Niagara Falls game were:

  • Colin Elder, assisted by Thomas Young and Giusten Annetta.
  • Giusten Annetta, assisted by Thomas Young and Alex Jerome.
  • Logan Freiburger, assisted by Colin Elder and Quinton Maddock.
  • Orion Hexamer, assisted by Colin Elder and Matt Ruigrok.
  • Giusten Annetta, assisted by Colin Elder and Thomas Young.

The Pelham Panthers ended the season in seventh place in the GOJHL Golden Horseshoe Division with a record of 12 wins, 34 losses and 4 overtime losses. For statistics see the GOJHL website: .

The Panthers face the St. Catharines Falcons in round one playoff action. The action starts Wednesday March 1 in Pelham, then Friday Mar. 3 in St. Catharines. Game three is scheduled for Sunday Mar. 5 in Pelham.
