Port Dalhousie Secondary Plan meeting

St. Catharines City Council will review and consider the Port Dalhousie Secondary Plan and Heritage District Plan after a public meeting on Monday Apr. 9/2018 at City Hall. This is a continuation of the meeting that started on Jan. 15, 2018.

The City Council meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and takes place in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 50 Church St. The public can attend in person, watch from anywhere online at www.stcatharines.ca/livestream or tune in from home on YourTV Niagara (formerly CogecoTV).

The City report regarding the Port Dalhousie Secondary Plan and Heritage District Plan, including staff’s recommendations, will be available for viewing online at www.stcatharines.ca and at City Hall as of Thursday, March 29.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting and provide their input. Residents wishing to speak can register with the Office of the City Clerk by calling 905.688.5601 ext. 1501 or by emailing clerks@stcatharines.ca. However, pre-registration is not required and all residents who attend the meeting will be given an opportunity to speak.

City Council is also holding a public meeting on Apr. 9/2018 regarding a planning application for 85 Scott St. That public meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the public meeting regarding the Port Dalhousie plans following. Overflow seating will be available in nearby meeting rooms where proceedings can be viewed on screen.

Free parking will be available at the City Hall / Market Square parking lot.
