Shoppers customers pitch in to help women in need

Port Cares recently received a donation of $2918.00 from the customers of Shoppers Drug Mart in Port Colborne.

The money donated is to be used to help women in need in the community with food, housing, access to counselling and vital services related to women’s health.

“Susan Marshall, Pharmacist and owner of Shoppers Drug Mart and her staff collected donations from generous local customers to give back into the community for women in need,” a release from Port Cares said. “We thank everyone who contributed to this gift for their kindness.”

The need is constant in the community, Port Cares offers programs and services which helps those in the community with social and economic needs to improve their quality of life.
