Brock expands international opportunities with launch of MBA double degree program

Kedge Business School’s Bordeaux campus in France is one of two places Brock MBA students will be able to study under the new double degree program.

Brock University press release – Brock University’s Goodman School of Business is expanding its offerings for graduate studies with the launch of a new partnership with France’s Kedge Business School.

The new double degree program will allow students to earn two degrees over about the same amount of time and tuition as Goodman’s traditional Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Students will spend a year at both schools and will earn an MBA from Brock and a Master in Management (MIM) from Kedge while gaining work experience by completing an international co-op placement.

“Goodman is extremely excited to launch its first double degree program at the graduate level,” said Dean Andrew Gaudes.

“It offers our students an incredible opportunity to gain a global perspective during their studies and we are proud to offer it.”

Students can choose to study at Kedge’s Bordeaux or Marseille campus, and all classes will be in English.

Anne-Catherine Guitard, Kedge’s Director of International Relations and Operations, said the school is excited for this new collaboration.

“Kedge is delighted to launch this new double degree with Brock’s top-ranked Goodman School of Business,” she said. “It will not only give students a multicultural perspective in their management studies, but also expose them to real-life work experience in a foreign environment — both of which are vital in today’s competitive employment market.”

For Carrie Kelly, Director of Goodman’s Graduate Programs, the new program offers students an opportunity to stand out.

“Gaining this international experience will really help students differentiate themselves,” she said. “Not only will they earn two master’s level degrees, students will broaden their international business acumen.”

Both Goodman and Kedge have received accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Goodman also offers double degree programs at the undergraduate level with universities in Ireland, France and Germany.
