Challenge goes out to realtors to re-stock Niagara’s food banks

The Niagara Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has a challenge in front of them, they have been challenged to re-stock food banks in the Niagara area.

On Tuesday, Mar. 31/2020, NAR Day, members of the association will be donating non-perishable food items they have collected to their different local food banks for the REALTOR® Re-Stock the Shelves of Niagara Challenge.

“NAR and its members are dedicated to the communities of Niagara and providing support for those in need. We believe the work being done at local organizations and charities is imperative to the success of our region, and we are pleased to assist by giving back,” a Niagara Association of REALTORS® press release said.

“Community is the foundation on which our homes are built. The REALTORS® of the Niagara Association firmly believe in not only building communities but giving back to help support them,” NAR president of the board Deanna Gunter said. “Our goal with the REALTOR® Re-Stock the Shelves of Niagara Challenge is to see all of the Food Banks across Niagara a little short on shelf space.”

Participants will be entered in a draw, the winner to receive $100 to be donated towards their local shelter-based charity in the Niagara Region.
