Double losses on the road for Whalers this weekend

Niagara Whalers logoThe Niagara Whalers faced double losses on the road in GMHL hockey action this weekend, losing 13 – 4 to the first place St. George Ravens Sunday Jan. 28/2018 and losing 7 – 4 to the Windsor Aces on Saturday Jan. 27/2018.

Sunday night’s loss against the Ravens happened in St. George.

The Whaler goal scorers were:

  • Frolov Mikhail assisted by Brandon Lindberg and Nick Pastorious
  • Brandon Lindberg assisted by Alex Remedios and Patrick Desjardins
  • Nick Pastorious for two, the first one assisted by Elias Berglund, the second unasssistd.

In action in Windsor against the Aces Saturday the Whalers lost 7 – 4. The Whaler goals came from:

  • Jakob Reeves for two the first one assisted by Brandon Lindberg, the second one assists went to Ethan Spaxman and David Christopher
  • David Christopher unassisted.
  • Brandon Lindberg assisted by Jakob Reeves

The Niagara Whalers next game is at home Friday Feb. 2/2018 against the second place Kingsville Kings, puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.
