Drugs and weapons seized at St. Catharines residence

Niagara Regional Police Service press release – During the month of June 2019 Detectives from the #1 District Street Crime Unit initiated a drug investigation in St.Catharines.

On June 18/2019, Detectives were successful in obtaining a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant for a residence in south St.Catharines. Police seized over $2,000 in cocaine and methamphetamine and several hundred dollars in proceeds of crime. Police also seized 3 long guns during the investigation, 2 which have been altered.

Charged with 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance, 1 count of possession of proceeds obtained by crime, 3 counts of careless storage of a firearm,3 counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, 1 count of unauthorized possession of ammunition, and 2 counts of fail to comply with a recognizance is 33-year-old Jeffery Allard of St.Catharines.

Allard is being held in custody pending a June 19 bail hearing.
