“We’re looking forward to the Easter Egg Hunt returning to the Vale Health & Wellness Centre this year”, said Gina Tartaglia, Event Coordinator in a City of Port Colborne press release. “The Easter Egg Hunt is planned to be outdoors this year, however, we can accommodate an indoor egg hunt during inclement weather. We will also be offering FREE family fun through our partnership with the YMCA. We hope everyone can find a way to PORTicipate this Easter”.

The event features two Easter shows, 10 a.m. and 2 pm., by Cindy Cook from Polka Dot Door with an Easter Bunny Meet and Greet before each show and a Bunny Hug after, face painting from Niagara Face Painters, free open swim at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and a free family skate from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m. It will take place outside if weather permits, inside in the case of inclement weather. Cash donations are accepted at registration.

In Welland, Volunteer Fire Company #1 is putting on its 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Merritt Island in Welland. The event will take place rain or shine.
