Fun times ahead this weekend at Ridgeway Summer Festival

The 28th Annual Ridgeway Summer Festival is the place to be for family fun this weekend Saturday July 7th through Sunday July 8th/2018.

“This event focuses on family fun and provides entertainment for the whole family” a Ridgeway BIA press release says. “The festival features 75+ artisans, buskers, three entertainment stages, Kids Zone, fabulous eats provided by downtown restaurants and street vendors to give you a taste of what Ridgeway has to offer.”

The festival also features a pancake breakfast each morning.

“New this year is Safari Niagara Niagara’s appearance with their animal show and display – Zoouniversity. See lets of little critters up close and personal,” the press release said.

Festival goers are also encouraged to take a ride on a Segway.

Saturday morning the festival runs alongside the Ridgeway Farmer’s Market and Art by the Market which have 45+ vendors to visit.

“On Saturday evening the street of downtown Ridgeway will be jammed with music lovers as the party continues in the Village Square with local favourites, Guilty Pleasures performing live in the square from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.,” the release said. “’Street Eats’ and local restaurants will be open for your convenience.”

Sunday over 350+ vintage and classic cars from around the region will be on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday July 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Sunday July 8.
