Home, garden, health and more at home and garden show

One exhibit at this year’s home and garden show is the Canine Conditioning Centre a unique business in Niagara. Emilija Puteris and owner Barbara Lee were at the booth Saturday talking with people about health ideas for their dogs.

A sure sign that spring has sprung is the 24th annual Kinsmen Club of Fonthill and District Pelham Home and Garden Show happening this weekend at the Meridian Community Centre.

“Today has been absolutely amazing,” show chair Kinsmen Dave Ripley said. “The new facility has done wonders for our attendance. Within the first three hours we were open today our numbers beat the total we had for the show last year.”

This local favourite exhibition is showcasing 81 exhibitors this year ranging from ideas for the home including decorating and renovating, to landscaping and garden ideas, personal health and fitness and even health and fitness for your favourite dog.

“We pick top exhibitors for our show,” Ripley said. “That’s what keeps making this show a success year after year.”

He also said that this year they are trying something different.

“This year it is free admission though a voluntary donation to Pelham Cares would be appreciated, “  he said. “It’s a great way for people to shop for their home and garden needs for this year and help out our community too.”

The show continues Sunday Apr. 7/2019 from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. at the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham.

This year’s home and garden show has 81 exhibitors for all of your home, garden and health needs.
