Kinsmen art contest winners announced

The winners of the Fonthill and District Kinsmen 2015 Pan Am Games theme art contest were announced Tuesday evening at a ceremony at Old Pelham Town Hall. The work was displayed at the recent Pelham Art Show and attendees cast votes to come up with the winners. Approximately 2,000 students took place in the contest, sponsored by Doyle Financial Solutions and Sun Life Financial.

And the winners are:

Junior Kindergarten

First place: Maggie Law, Glynn A. Green Public School. Second place: Ellie Barbour, Glynn A. Green Public School.

Senior Kindergarten

First place: Isabel Glendhill, Glynn A. Green Public School. Second place: Emma O’Neill, Glynn A. Green Public School.

Grade 1

First place: Milena Grahovac, St. Alexander Catholic Elementary School. Second place: Ellah Thompson, St. Ann Catholic Elementary School.

Grade 2

First place: Lily Reynolds, E. W. Farr Public School. Second place: Amelia Siolkowsky, St. Alexander Catholic Elementary School.

Grade 3

First place:  Kade Ukrainetz, Maple Crest Early School and Emerson Darling, Glynn A. Green Public School (tied).

Grade 4

First place: Rebecca Mako, Glynn A. Green Public School. Second place: Noha Nahli: École élémentaire Nouvel Horizon.

Grade 5
