Missing Pelham teen found safe

A missing 15 year old Pelham girl was located and found to be safe in Toronto Saturday, said Niagara Regional Police.

Renee Ramadan had been reported missing May 13, and she was last seen at 6 p.m. in a newer silver four-door car in the area of Riverside Dr., Welland, on May 14.

She was believed to be in the company of a male, who was described as being approximately 6’2″, with a thin build and appeared to be of East Indian descent.

In a release, police said Toronto Police Service 54 Division officers assisted detectives from the Welland detachment in locating the silver car, and with the investigation.

Ramadeen was found to be in the area of Edgecliff Golfway and Linkwood Lane in Toronto.
Detectives from the Welland detachment are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of Ramadeen going missing.

Niagara police, said 25 year old Gerard Gerard, of Toronto, was charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking marihuana as a result of their investigation. The Toronto Police Service is continuing to investigate Gerard.
Gerard was returned to Niagara to attend a bail hearing on May 16 in St. Catharines.
Niagara police thanked their Toronto counterparts, the public and media for their help in locating Ramadeen.
