Robbery in Niagara Falls

A 38 year old Niagara Falls man was arrested and charged with robbery and personate peace officer, said Niagara Regional Police.

At 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, police were called to McLeod Rd. and Ailanthus Ave., in Niagara Falls, to investigate a report of a robbery. NRP Logo
 
An investigation revealed that a male victim had disembarked from a city bus when he was approached by an unknown male suspect who identified himself as a police officer. The suspect then assaulted the victim and stole personal property from him.
 
On Friday, Feb. 17, police arrested Jamie Tries in connection with the incident.

Drugs seized

Cocaine, trafficking items and currency, were seized from two homes and one car by Niagara Regional Police through controlled drugs and substances act search warrants on Thursday, Feb, 16.

As a result of the search warrants, 58-year-old Milan Todorovic, of Niagara Falls, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. Also charged was Jill Cicci, 45, of Niagara Falls, with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
