NRPS arrest second suspect in St. Catharines murder

NRP LogoThe Niagara Regional Police Service has made a second arrest in relation to the death of a 53-year-old St. Catharines man.
On Saturday, Jan. 5/2019 the NRPS were performing a welfare check on the male at his residence near Collier Street and Westchester Ave. When they arrived they found the male in distress. He was transferred to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Initial investigation lead to the arrest of 28-year-old Alexander Windsor from the City of Welland, charged with second degree murder.
“As part of the on-going investigation, on Sunday, January 6, 2019, a second male suspect was identified,” a press release from the Niagara Regional Police Service said.
On Sunday the NRPS arrested 30-year-old Adam Gretzinger of Niagara Falls, charged with second degree murder.
He is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
