NRPS investigating St. Catharines car fire

Niagara Regional Police Service press release – On Tuesday, September 3/2019 in the early morning hours, Police responded to reports of a car fire at the rear of an apartment complex on Roehampton Avenue in St. Catharines.

Detectives are appealing to the public in hopes of identifying potential witnesses that may have seen anything suspicious in the area of 76 Roehampton Avenue or the adjoining businesses to the rear (Canadian Tire, Walmart, and Food Basics – all located on Welland Avenue). Investigators believe the fire was started around 1:30 am.

If anyone has information about the car fire or witnessed any suspicious activity in the area you are urged to contact Detectives from the 1 District Detective Office in St. Catharines.
