One loss, one win for Meteors this weekend

The Fort Erie Meteors weekend of hockey ended with one loss and one win, losing Friday Oct. 26/2018 7 – 1 to the Niagara Falls Canucks in the Falls, winning 5 – 2 over the Lockport Regals in Fort Erie.

Cail Cirillo scored Fort Erie’s lone goal in the Friday night game.

In Saturday’s game, the Regals took a 1 – 0 lead in the first period. The Regals’ goal came from Tim Lopez.

Brady Lee and Marco Lariccia netted one each for Fort Erie in the second, Alex Stinis picked up one for Lockport, the period ending in a 2 – 2 tie.

Luca Marcellitti added two goals in the third period, Nathan Reichel a single to bring the Meteors to the 5 – 2 win.

The Meteors are next in action against the Niagara Falls Canucks on Saturday Nov. 3 in Fort Erie.
