Panthers earn shutout win over Regals

Pelham Panthers LogoThe Pelham Panthers faced off against the Buffalo Regals Sunday, Nov. 10/2019, in GOJHL hockey action in Peham.  The Panthers earned a shutout in the contest, winning 4 – 0.

The first period was scoreless, the Panthers moved ahead 3 – 0 in the second period.

Jordan Guigui led off the Panther attack at 0:26 in the second period, assisted by Devin Sanders and Cody Miskolczi. Hunter Godmere connected next at 3:25, the assist went to Jordan Tutt. Deven Sanders connected with the third goal at 5:11, assists went to Michael Hutchings and Jordan Guigui.

The Panthers fourth goal came at 4:46 in the third period, assisted by Hunter Godmere and Michael Marchesan.

The Panthers were in action Friday, Nov. 8/2019 against the St. Catharines Falcons, the Falcons pulled off a big 7 – 0 win.

The Pelham Panthers next action is Thursday, Nov. 14/2019, in Thorold against the Blackhawks at 7 p.m. They will be on home ice again Sunday, Nov. 17/2019 to face the Fort Erie Meteors.

In other action in the Golden Horseshoe Conference on Sunday, the St. Catharines Falcons  and the Welland Junior Canadians skated to a 3 – 3 tie that couldn’t be solved in two overtime periods in Welland,
