Panthers suffer double losses against the Avalanche

Pelham Panthers LogoThe Pelham Panthers have been on the losing end to the third place Ancaster Avalanche twice this weekend, first Friday night they lost 5-1, then on Saturday night, they lost 8-7.

In the Friday night game on home ice, Pelham’s Caleb Mussat scored their lone goal in the first period assisted by Thomas Young and Jeffrey Venzon.

Ancaster’s goals came from Owen Norton in the first period,  Ben Hughes in the second period and Michael Pollice with two in the same period. Their fifth goal came from Owen Burnell in the third period.

In Saturday’s game in Ancaster, the goal report for the Panthers started in the first period with a point by Adam Petric, assisted by Jeffrey Venzon and Martin Nowysz.

The second period Panther points came from: Jesse Burger, assisted by London Murray and Jeffrey Venzon, Cameron DeFazio, assisted by Hunter Swain and Adam Petric, Cameron DeFazio, his second goal, assisted again by Hunter Swain and Adam Petric. Hunter Swain added their fifth goal towards the end of the second, assisted by Adam Petric and Gary Burley.

The Panthers third period goals came from Mathiau Young, assisted by Riley Hollowell and Zachary Plumb and Thomas Young scored their seventh goal assisted by Jesse Burger and Hunter Swain.
