Recently Pelham Cares received some special donations which will help them help families in the community this holiday season.

On Dec. 11/2018 they received items for the Holiday Hampers from Beaver Harry Seppala who was completing his final task for the North Star Award.

“After collecting donations, Harry and his family shopped and delivered items for the Holiday Hampers, to be distributed to Pelham families later this week,” Pelham Cares client services coordinator Lori Grande said.

On Dec. 12/2018, Central Auto Niagara presented the items collected in their recent PJ and Sock Drive, exceeding their target of 103 pairs of PJs and many pairs of socks. The items are to be distributed with the Pelham Cares Christmas Hampers.

“This will help to make the holiday season a little bit cozier for families,” Grande said.

The need for donations is ongoing, anyone wishing to make food or financial contributions to Pelham Cares should check the Pelham Cares website: .
