Police looking for Pelham girl

Niagara Regional Police are asking the public to help them locate a missing Pelham girl.

Police said Renee Ramadeen, 15, has been missing from her Poth Street residence since May 13, and she was last seen at 6 p.m. in a newer silver four-door car in the area of Riverside Dr., Welland, on May 14.

Ramadeen is described as being dark skinned, approximately 5’3″ and 120 pounds. She has long brown hair, and a thin build.

She is believed to be in the company of a male, who has yet to be identified.  He is described as being approximately 6’2″, with a thin build and appears to be of East Indian descent. 
 
During the course of the investigation into the whereabouts of Ramadeen, police have been made aware of an incident that occurred on May 14. 

Police said two 15 year old girls were approached by a male driving a silver car at 3:45 p.m. on the area of East Main St. and River Rd., in Welland. The girls spoke briefly with the male and walked away. The male was not known to either girl.

He is described as East Indian, 23 to 24 years old, 6’2”, skinny with short dark hair, a chin strap with goatee and diamond studs in each ear. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and Rayban sunglasses.
 
The identity of the male(s) in both incidents remains unknown.

Ramadeen may also be using the last name of Miller.

Police say they are now concerned for Ramadeen’s safety.
