Stolen Sea-Doo recovered in Fort Erie

NRP LogoNiagara Regional Police Service press release – On August 27/2019 uniform officers began the investigation of a stolen Sea-Doo. #5 District detectives continued the investigation and subsequently executed a search warrant in the area of Kraft Rd. and Dominion Rd. in Fort Erie. The stolen Sea-Doo valued at over $5000 was recovered as a result of the search warrant.

Two males were arrested at the residence. Twenty-five-year-old Edward Carnegie was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Fail to Comply with Probation. Carnegie was held in custody pending a bail hearing. Seventy-two-year-old Michael Semkiw was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000. Semkiw was released with a future court date.

Eric Hagen is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hagen.
