Wainfleet fire department receives funding for vehicle extrication equipment

Recently Wainfleet Fire and Emergency Services received help to purchase vehicle extrication equipment.

“Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada is celebrating a grant awarded to Wainfleet Fire and Emergency Services for $38,408 to fund vehicle extrication equipment,” Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada press release said.  “The awarded equipment will improve the department’s rescue capabilities for victims in motor vehicle accidents.”

The money is raised through in-restaurant fundraising initiatives.
