Niagara Regional Police arrested and charged two brothers with various offences after executing a search warrant in Welland.
In a release, police said members of the Central Region Street Crime Unit began an investigation into the sale of cocaine from a Welland resident who would allegedly deal from his vehicle.
“A search warrant was granted to search a Lyons Creek Rd residence. As a result of the investigation Serge St Denis was arrested and found to be in possession of pre-packaged cocaine valued at $350, and $2,025 in cash,” the release said.
Police said they also seized an additional quantity of cocaine and found evidence of trafficking.
Serge St Denis, 38, faces possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds under $5,000, and fail to comply with probation.
His brother, Shaun St Denis, 34, faces charges of possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon contrary to order, and fail to comply with probation.
Both men were scheduled to make an appearance in bail court in St Catharines Wednesday.
